Lead Support Worker
Working at our service in Lowestoft
Fixed Term 6 month contract Full Time (37.5hpw)
Pay 13.21 per hour (25838 per annum) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Typical day as a Lead Support Worker (known by us as Coordinator)
- Creating support plans with your customers and coordinating our small team of Support Workers working to the plans.
- Encouraging our customers to be part of our customer involvement groups.
- Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals shopping budgeting maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation if they are able.
- Carrying out risk assessments support planning goal setting and regular reviews.
- Cuppas chats and catch ups. Theres no rushing from one customer to the next here! Plenty of time to collaborate with colleagues too.

You bring
- Passion to support our customers to live their best life working collaboratively with an eye for detail.
- Experience of creating person-centred support plans and supporting colleagues in working to work to the plans.
- Experience of coordinating and assessing customer referrals.
- The ability to workon your own initiative remaincalm under pressure and havea resilient approach
- To get from A to B youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!

Our team
Youll join our managers Lisa and Heather who between them have been at Home Group for 22 years now. Both managers have risen up into their manager roles they are true examples of how we grow our own here! Our Waveney team are super passionate about what we do and were known in the organisation for our Elf on a Shelf antics in December and are a fun team to work with!
Job details
We work to a 3 week rolling rota days sleep in nights weekends and On Calls
Where were flexible with you we do need to meet the needs of our customers. That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion.
Although youll work some nights we do get together regularly in the daytime for training and team meetings.
Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues.
Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
