Job Description

Summary

As an DevOps Engineer I you will help build optimize and support our serverless platform infrastructure CI/CD pipelines and monitoring capabilities. Youll work closely with senior DevOps and engineering team members to implement solutions that enable reliable scalable deployments and enhance observability. What Youll Do:

CI/CD Pipeline Support

  • Contribute to the design and improvement of CI/CD pipelines that enable automated testing and continuous delivery across multiple environments.
  • Support efforts to automate deployments reduce downtime and improve release processes using tools such as GitHub Actions and GitHub Advanced Security.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to maintain and document workflows aligned with Dev Test Prod practices.

Infrastructure as Code & Cloud Management

  • Assist in provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform focusing on security scalability and reliability.
  • Help maintain AWS services such as Lambda API Gateway Step Functions VPC S3 and Aurora Serverless (Postgres).
  • Participate in building event-driven architectures leveraging AWS EventBridge SNS SQS and CloudWatch.

Observability and Monitoring

  • Help implement monitoring and alerting solutions to track system performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to creating dashboards and observability tooling using Datadog AWS CloudTrail and AWS X-Ray.
  • Assist in setting up distributed tracing and telemetry to improve debugging and system resilience.

Resiliency and Security

  • Support resiliency testing initiatives including chaos engineering practices and incident response simulations.
  • Assist in applying security best practices across AWS resources including IAM roles secrets management and compliance automation.

Developer Experience and Automation

  • Work with development teams to automate workflows and improve cloud resource management.
  • Learn and promote DevOps practices across teams with guidance and mentorship from experienced engineers.

What Were Looking For

  • 1 years of experience in DevOps Site Reliability Engineering or a related role (internships or co-ops count).
  • Foundational knowledge of AWS services and a desire to deepen expertise in serverless and event-driven architectures.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform CloudFormation or similar).
  • Interest in observability monitoring and improving system performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills willingness to learn and ability to collaborate effectively.
