Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Inclusive Excellence is responsible for managing the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) grant and overseeing programs that support the academic success professional development and engagement of underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students in STEM and licensed professions. This position plays a vital role in promoting equity access and inclusive excellence by developing and delivering high-impact student support initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters Degree in higher education social sciences or related field
- 3 or more years related experience in student development program management or grant administration preferably in higher education
Relevant combinations of education training and experience may be considered.
Minimum Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of diversity equity inclusion and belonging (DEIB) practices
- Strong organizational communication and data analysis skills
Preferred Knowledge Skill and Abilities
- Experience managing a NYSED CSTEP or similar state/federal grant
- Familiarity with the needs of historically marginalized students in STEM and professional fields
- Demonstrated ability to develop and assess co-curricular programs

Starting Salary/Rate
Expected hiring range: $60500 - $65000
Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidates salary will be determined based on factors that include the available budget internal equity and the final candidates qualifications experience education and other job-related credentials.
