Service Supervisor Coop/Intern (September - December)
Do you love special events Would you like to transform ordinary moments into extraordinary memories Then we would like to welcome you as our next Student Events Intern at Carmens Event Centre!
The Student Events Intern delivers friendly efficient customer service and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and clients with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers.

Opportunities will include:- Ensuring all guests have a memorable experience through event execution
- Support the set up and service team with the execution of events
- Respond to guest and staff inquiries
- Assist with scheduling and supervising event staff
- Attend BEO meetings and assist with day of logistics
- Encourage guest feedback and track event outcomes
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth operations
- Perform opening/closing duties and general event support
- Represent the Carmens Group brand at all times
- Gain real world experience in a fast paced fun environment
- Learn from industry professionals
- Be part of creating amazing guest memories
- Opportunities for mentorship and growth
- Currently enrolled in Special Event Management or comparable program
- Previous experience in hospitality an asset
- High level attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Customer service mindset
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Working evenings and weekends to meet business needs as required

This is a paid coop position and the student will receive credit for their coop program.
