DMAS - Project Manager 2
Hybrid on-site/telework (3 days in the office).
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Project Manager will initiate plan execute monitor/control and close projects as assigned and in accordance with state/federal regulations and industry best practices. The Project Manager will propose innovative solutions and business process improvements manage project risks and issues work independently within the PMO structure and curate project organizational process assets and reports.
The candidate will interact and coordinate with all levels of DMAS including with external vendors federal partners and oversight entities including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Virginia IT Agency (VITA) Virginia Office of Attorney General (OAG) and others.
Required/Desired Skills Skill Required /Desired Amount of Exp in yrs Consultant Experience Consultant Last Used Exp with Agile and Waterfall software development concepts Required 10 Exp with sr level Project Management practices and principles; Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) Required 10 Exp with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Required 10 Experience with successfully leading project teams through implementations including at least one successfully led project of NAM or higher. Required 10 Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Required 0 MITA Architecture Desired 0 Vendor management and contract oversight Highly desired 5 Working knowledge of Advance Planning Document (APD) process for obtaining federal grants from CMS Highly desired 5 Knowledge of/experience with MS Project including creating managing analyzing and reportion on integrated project schedules Highly desired 10 Working knowledge of or experience with Medicaid and/or other health claims processing systems Highly desired 5 Health information exchanges and system interoperability Highly desired 0 Questions No. Question Consultant Answer Question1 Commonwealth of Virginia security policies prohibit the use of offshore IT contractors.
