Intensive Care Unit- RN (Permanent Role) Location: Round Rock TX 78665
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Essential Functions: - Conduct thorough clinical assessments and prioritize care needs.
- Create evaluate and adjust individualized care plans.
- Foster therapeutic relationships with patients and families offering support and clear communication.
- Educate patients families and staff to support informed health decisions.
- Delegate and coordinate patient care tasks effectively with the care team.
- Use clinical judgment to identify patient deterioration and act swiftly.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Apply critical thinking to problem-solve and advocate for optimal patient outcomes.
- Uphold safety quality and infection control standards at all times.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
Key Success Factors: - In-depth knowledge of nursing standards practices and protocols.
- Familiarity with state/national nursing regulations and ethics.
- Strong grasp of medical terminology pharmacology and disease management.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) Microsoft Office and related healthcare software.

Required Qualifications: - Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing ADN).
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire or within 30 days of start.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required for ICU roles.
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience.
