Job Title:
Health & Wellness Teacher cum Special Educator
Desired:
Masters in Psychology (M.A or MSc.) Clinical or Counselling
Roles and Responsibilities:
the students with learning / emotional / behavioral concerns in the classroom for all the grades from 1-12
Individualized Education / Counselling Plans for the special needs children
individual group sessions and providing in class support for students which needs help
workshops for Children Parents Teachers
counselling to all the stakeholders involved with the children under treatment- parents teachers shadow teachers outsourced centers and other allied therapists
and maintain a database of all the cases on a monthly basis
for outsourced assessments as and when required post approvals from the Department
the goals set for the year
aids and other resources for working with the children under treatment
with the admissions of special needs children along with the IEC
with the invigilation and provisions for the special needs children
to Inclusive Education cell (IEC) Mumbai for an action plan for the school
with the Hub In charge on a monthly basis to maintain a follow up for all the cases under treatment
the pre-primary students for any concerns along with the Hub In charge
Wellness Teachers need to take a minimum one session in a week for the identified cases in therapy and conduct maximum 15 life skill sessions in a week
