Transportation&Logistics Operations Bi-Lingual Assistant Manager

This position requires a fluent Korean/English bilingual professional with strong operational acumen leadership capabilities and analytical insight. You will oversee carrier relations logistics analysis compliance claims and asset managementwhile contributing to cost savings safety improvements and scalable processes that support business growth.

Reports to: Transportation Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and monitor transportation operations to ensure on-time delivery of all shipments.
• Review and approval of logistics analysis carrier bid analysis.
• Special move operation and payment (Including Urgent load request operation)
• Review of claim processing and finalizing for all level damages.
• Maintain and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Conduct periodic customer and carrier audits to ensure compliance and service quality.
• Carrier contract negotiation bid analysis traffic lane and distribution analysis.
• Set and measure service performance goals for carriers; conduct regular service evaluations
• Conduct carrier service reviews with carrier management (Carrier Evaluation)
• Analysis of cost and profit / Improving operation procedure for Cost saving
• Efficiently manage fleet assets (trucks trailers) and optimize resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement policies and drive operational alignment.
• Organize and lead monthly safety meetings focusing on incidents preventative measures and carrier safety issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be Korean/English bilingual (written and verbal)
• Bachelors degree in applicable field preferred. (Logistics Supply Chain)
• 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics operations distribution management (Including Asset Maintenance and Related Regulation such as DOT and all government regulations for road safety- plus at least 3 years of managerial experience)
• Experience with TMS or similar transportation related computer database management systems.
• Exceptional communication critical thinking planning and organizational skills.
• Detailed knowledge and experience with general business application programs including Microsoft office.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $81200 -$90500.The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors including but not limited to specific skills or certifications years of experience market changes and required travel.
