Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: West Tulsa
Pay: $17/hour
Shift: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Plate Receiver to join our West Tulsa warehouse team. This role involves accepting and inspecting plate material deliveries updating inventory and working closely with multiple departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations. The Plate Receiver will also have opportunities to cross-train in other departments and learn new skills as they master their current responsibilities in a climate-controlled team-oriented facility.
Essential Functions
- Accept deliveries of plate materials verify quantities and inspect for any damage or defects.
- Update inventory records to ensure accurate tracking of materials in the system.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure materials meet company and industry standards.
- Work closely with purchasing sales and production teams to coordinate material needs and resolve discrepancies.
- Operate flatbeds overhead cranes forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organize materials safely.
- Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform computer-based tasks related to inventory and material tracking requiring proficiency with warehouse software.
- The Plate Receiver will also assist other departments when needed and contribute to overall team success.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of proven forklift and overhead crane experience.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse and inventory systems and prior relevant work experience.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed.
- Strong math skills for quick calculations.
- Proficient in computer use for warehouse tasks and communication.
- Team-oriented organized and self-sufficient with strong communication skills.
