Job Description

Are you passionate about advancing care for patients with obesity and complex metabolic conditions We re seeking a Board-Certified Obesity Medicine Physician to lead compassionate evidence-based care within a collaborative multidisciplinary team in Southfield MI.

In this role you ll play a pivotal part in reshaping how obesity and related conditions are treated from cutting-edge pharmacologic therapies to team-based lifestyle support.

What You ll Do

- Deliver high-touch personalized care for patients with obesity diabetes PCOS thyroid disorders and related conditions

- Manage treatment plans with GLP-1s hormone therapy and other evidence-backed protocols

- Collaborate closely with behavioral health providers nutritionists and care managers

- Drive quality improvement efforts and help scale a value-based Obesity Medicine program

- Educate patients and staff on best practices in metabolic and endocrine health

Qualifications

- MD or DO with an active Michigan medical license

- Board Certified in Obesity Medicine (Endocrinology highly preferred)

- 2 years of clinical experience in managing obesity/metabolic health

- Team-oriented patient-first approach with strong communication skills

Education

-Bachelor s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field. -Familiarity with EHR systems like Athena. -Knowledge of the Metro Detroit healthcare landscape is a plus.
