This is a remote position.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 1 PM (20 hours per week)
Scope:
- Target market: Companies throughout Sydney and Australia requiring uniforms PPE and safety equipment
- Lead generation focus: Cold calling to thousands of potential business prospects
- Appointment setting goal: Generate 5 qualified meetings per week minimum
- Industry focus: Businesses that require workwear safety equipment PPE consumables and promotional items
- Geographic scope: Primarily Sydney-based companies with expansion throughout Australia
- Role positioning: Front-line lead generation to support sales team s closing activities
Responsibilities:
- Make cold calls to companies throughout Sydney and Australia to generate new business opportunities
- Qualify potential prospects and filter out unqualified leads
- Set up meetings and appointments for the sales team with qualified prospects
- Handle initial prospect conversations and perform slight consultations to assess client needs
- Clear out prospects who are not a good fit allowing sales reps to focus on warm leads
- Generate approximately 5 qualified meetings per week for the sales team
- Maintain consistent outreach to thousands of potential companies in the target market
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills with clear professional phone presence
- Thick skin and resilience to handle rejection during cold calling
- Tenacious and persistent approach to prospecting
- Ability to conduct basic consultations and qualify prospects effectively
- Experience or comfort with B2B appointment setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills to manage lead pipeline
- Ability to work Australian business hours and understand Australian business culture
