On behalf of our client a specialist real estate investment firm we are seeking a highly motivated Investment Associate to join their Dublin team.
This role offers exposure to distressed asset transactions and value-add real estate investments working closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate acquisition opportunities through financial modelling market analysis and due diligence with a focus on Non-Performing CRE loans and value-add real estate.
- Assist in structuring and executing investments including preparation of investment memoranda and coordination with legal financial and technical advisors.
- Monitor portfolio performance support repositioning strategies and assist in resolving complex workout scenarios involving distressed assets.
- Conduct sector and market-level research across targeted asset classes to support investment strategy and pipeline development.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3 4 years of relevant experience in real estate private equity investment banking special situations or restructuring preferably with exposure to distressed assets.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Understanding of real estate fundamentals capital structures and investment evaluation particularly in distressed or non-performing environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders
3-4 years' experience with background in finance, property law or real estate development Previous experience negotiating and closing residential sales contracts with purchasers. Excellent attention to detail, commercial acumen, and project management skills. Ability to work on own initiative and collaborate as part of a team.
