Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedSenior Data Engineerto join ourCommercial Data Productteam. This role is critical in designing building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and quality frameworks usingGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)services. You will collaborate closely with data product owners analysts and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality reliable and timely data solutions that support the Commercial Onboarding and Servicing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Designs implements and supports robustevent-driven streaming and batch ELT/ETL pipelinesusing GCP services.
- Develops and maintains a comprehensivedata quality frameworkthat ensures data accuracy and reliability.
- Partners with stakeholders to gather define and document business requirements.
- Translates business needs into scalable and maintainabletechnical solutions.
- Creates and maintainstechnical documentation specifications and project artifacts.
- Serves as atechnical experton the team: assigns tasks mentors junior engineers and conducts code reviews.
- Designs and implements solutions to ensure theperformance availability and healthof the data product.
- Proactively troubleshoots and resolves system issues in all environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience indata engineering with a strong focus oncloud-native architectures.
- Minimum 2 years of experience withevent-driven or real-time data processing.
- Deep expertise in GCP services particularlyBigQuery Cloud Run Pub/Sub Cloud Storage Audit Logs EventArc andMonitoring.
- Proficiency inSQL Python andJavaScript.
- Experience withCI/CD pipelines Git-based workflows andinfrastructure-as-codetools such asTerraform.
- Strong understanding ofdata quality principles observability andmetadata management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence both technical and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity withAgile methodologiesand iterative development practices.

- Experience withGoogle Cloud Dataformordbt
- Experience withGoogle Cloud DatastreamandDataflow.
- Experience withSalesforce Data CloudandBigQuery Sharing.
- Experience with ETL processes across various databases includingOracleandSQL Server.
