Position Profile


The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to take on the role of our next Senior Court Program Analyst. This position supports the Administrative Office of the Courts Data Integrity program and is responsible for staffing and managing data quality related committees promoting data stewardship helping develop data quality strategies and preparing communication pieces about data quality.


This position works under the general guidance and supervision of a Court Business Supervisor under the Court Services Division. The Senior Court Program Analyst works closely with business and technical staff at AOC partner agencies judicial officers court clerks and administrator staff and other court personnel to resolve data issues and proactively outline business practices that produce high data quality results for court data. Decision-making is carried out according to general guidelines and defined rules/procedures although some areas require interpretation and/or development of possible approaches.

Status: Project Full-Time*

Location: Olympia Washington

Salary: Range 68: $84984 - $111504 per year (DOQ).

*Duration: This is a project position that is currently funded through June 30 2027.


WASHINGTON STATE RESIDENCY AND TELEWORK INFORMATION


AOC requires employees to reside in Washington State. Any exceptions must be approved. If you are invited to an interview and currently reside outside of Washington State seek more information about residency requirements from the AOC hiring manager of this recruitment.


This position requires you to be in the office at least two (2) days per week.

Duties and Responsibilities


Some of the duties you will perform are:

  • Manages the contribution of diverse stakeholder groups in development and evaluation of significant court processes and practices in alignment with data quality standards.
  • Provides consultation to project stakeholders.
  • Produces and updates data processes related to data collection in comparison to data quality standards. Plans and implement solutions for data quality assurance.
  • Contributes to the research analysis and documentation related to the availability completeness or integrity of court data.
  • Analysis evaluation and efficient development of recommendations and options related to achieving and maintaining consistent and effective business practices for court data quality.
  • Analyzes and evaluates legislation and its probable impact upon business practices related to data collection and data use.
  • Staff for court data stakeholder committees with services support and facilitate meetings.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and technical personnel to ensure that data integrity needs are clearly defined communicated and understood.
  • Strategize coordinate and provide communication related to policies and processes of data quality in various court applications.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time to meet productivity standards deadlines and work schedules; accepts personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work.
  • Senior professional level job that works with minimal supervision and applies independent judgment and decision making on complex projects.
  • Performs other work as assigned.

Qualifications and Credentials


  • Bachelors degree in court administration public administration political science

business administration or closely allied field


AND


  • Five (5) years of responsible experience in court administration and/or program

development including one (1) year in a supervisory or lead role and/or managing/directing groups or teams.


Relevant experience may substitute for the required education.


THE IDEAL APPLICANT WILL ALSO HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE EDUCATION KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Understanding of the Washington State judicial system including the jurisdictional limits and responsibilities of each level of court and the roles and responsibilities of judicial staff and related justice partners.
  • Proficient in preparing accurate written documentation related to business processes and court business operations issue resolution meeting minutes and other written communication.
  • The ability to articulately deliver information and solutions related to business processes and court business operations in person phone or online meetings.
  • Ability to plan and organize assignments to create timely accurate work products.
  • Ability to work efficiently remain focused and handle interruptions effectively.
  • Expertise in and aptitude for presentation interpersonal written and oral communication when communication with business and technical audiences.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including patience diplomacy and ability to negotiate.
  • Consistent demonstration of AOC Values - Integrity Teamwork Customer Service Honesty Communication Respect Accountability and Trust.

Supplemental Information


  • The workweek may fluctuate depending on workload or agency needs.
  • Overnight travel may be required based on business needs.
  • This position is not overtime eligible.
