The Airtable Builder ensures the collaborative tools our agency and clients use to support our daily work are efficient and intentional. From A to Z this role ensures that the applications and software are aligned with our needs and that there are clear operating standards for each program. With a solution-oriented mentality this role ensures that our teams have the best tool for the job and that the way we employ that tool reflects the needs ofallteams. Collectively the Product Operations team works across the agency to ensure that our teams are set up with the right tools and methodology to do what they do best.
A Mentor:This role provides mentorship guidance to other roles as an additional channel of support that helps reinforce the community mentality within the department.
A Leader:This role leads the entire agency to a unified and clear use of agency tools grounded in their support. This role does not have people management responsibilities.
A Collaborator:This role collaborates with all operations teams to support their operational efforts with program-and-tool-specific support and expertise. They partner with all levels of stakeholders across all departments and accounts to ensure that tool and product functions align with the needs of our teams.
Be an Expert:Be a subject-matter-expert for our agency with all things Airtable and when expertise isnt available coordinate to find an answer or solution. Keep a constant pulse on the latest product availability to ensure that our teams have what they need to stay ahead of our clients needs and competition.
Manage & Orchestrate Support:Have the know-how to take individuals or teams through an introduction of a new product. Interpret product updates apply them to existing processes and prepare wide-scale training as needed. Ensure that quality training programs are in place and up to date.
Establish Best Practices:Inform best practices and standard operating procedures for how our teams use the tools we provide. Partner with other operation leads within the department to create and maintain this documentation.
Determine the Right Tools:Identify or be informed of gaps in technology that inhibit the agency from absorbing critical growth and locate potential tools and solutions to address them in partnership with all Operation teams.
Organize Our Available Products:Manage the ongoing list of applications software and programs that Thesians have access to and be the main contact when teams request new software solutions. Vet new product requests and provide alternative solutions when applicable. Partner with the IT Department to set up new products and determine permission level settings.
5 years experience working in an operations role supporting tool implementation and ongoing best practices. Previous experience working for a creative agency is a plus or comparable experience.
Expert knowledge of Airtable. Proficiency in Asana Wrike Harvest Slack Notion and other project management time tracking communication and knowledge management tools is a plus.
Experience creating accessible learning and training materials for applications software and programs and leading teams through training as needed.
Effortless ability to collaborate with clients by anticipating their needs and delivering against sold projects.
Exceptional ability to recognize opportunities to improve workflows through the implementation of new tools. The ability to successfully communicate and motivate stakeholders is critical.
Experience working closely with multidisciplinary teams and various leadership levels to ensure that solutions align with all department needs.
Experience planning and executing against company-wide operational initiatives with an ability to contextualize and simplify complex processes for unfamiliar teams.
Experience building multidisciplinary relationships and confidence interacting with all levels of leadership. Experience leading teams in a management capacity is a plus.
Strong communication skills with a collaborative mentality and top-notch interpersonal skills.
Deep knowledge of general business tools such as Slack Microsoft Office Google Suite etc.

Certain activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse.
Bending reaching lifting pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds.
Travel is not anticipated for this role.
Thesis operates using a flexible hybrid model (i.e. work occurs remotely 2 days/week and in the office 3 days/week). Employees should consult their department Director or Head for specific team frameworks protocols and guidelines.
