Job Description:
We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Attorney to join our clients distinguishedEmerging Companies & Venture Capitalpractice a pivotal component of their broader Technology Sector group. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing sophisticated legal counsel to a diverse portfolio ofburgeoning enterprises and nascent ventures. This encompasses a broad spectrum ofcorporate governanceandstrategic advisoryfunctions often serving in an external general counsel capacity guiding clients through critical business decisions. A core responsibility will involve orchestrating and executingcomplex venture financing rounds spanning bothearly-stage seed investmentsandlate-stage growth equity transactions. This includes adeptly representing both thecompanys seeking capitaland theventure capital fundsand other institutional investors deploying it. The role demands a proactive leader capable ofmanaging ongoing client relationships overseeing intricate deal structures and significantly contributing to theprofessional development and mentorship of junior associates within the practice group. Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from anABA-accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with theMassachusetts State Bar or eligibility to gain admission promptly.
