Reporting to the Gore Bay and White Bay Operations Manager our Gore Bay Operators are an essential part of our operations team - responsible for the safe handling and storage of fuel products and facilitating operational maintenance and product quality activities.
This is a Full-Time 24/7 shift based role where collaboration and communication is essential to the safe and efficient operation of the terminal.
Responsibilities
Shares safety knowledge and understands that safety comes first
Actively participates in HSSE activities such as safety meetings hazard identifications work insights and emergency response planning
Implements operational procedures safely and efficiently
Completes monitoring sampling & testing of fuel and fuelling equipment.
Use of the company management systems.
Provides safe access to plant and equipment via work clearances gas testing permitting and isolations.
Adhere to procedure and process safety requirements.
Surveillance and inspections supports preventative follow-on and reactive work orders using JDE maintenance management system.
Basic maintenance and housekeeping duties in relation to operational areas.
Provides support on maintenance and project work ensuring the interface between operational and project/maintenance activities is safely and efficiently managed.
Other operational activities as required by the Terminal Manager.
Qualifications :

You must have a can-do attitude and attention to procedures.
You care about people and want to be part of a tight-knit team are dependable detail-oriented and can apply innovative problem-solving skills.
You are able to demonstrate a curiosity about operations or technology and have a track record in taking ownership and delivering on your promises.
To be successful in this role you will have a strong work ethic mechanical aptitude good communication skills with a positive and flexible attitude.
