Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Floor Planner isfor the floorplan and merchandise layout design of retail stores using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Produce merchandise layout plans using established guidelines. Execute and adapt merchandise plans in collaboration with the Store Floorplan Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Interprets format fixture criteria used to create merchandise layouts that meets the business needs & supports the corporate merchandising strategies.

  • Analyzes cube and square footage data to create specific merchandise layouts by store that best support store sales maximize productivity of space and enhance the customer experience.

  • Maintains accuracy in all file information including fixture detail dimensions icons and layer structure in accordance with company standards.

  • Supports Store Execution team through coordination of workload with other planners to ensure timely completion of all projects.

  • Keeps manager advised of current status and critical issues including coordination with other internal teams.

  • Participates in special projects plan reviews new concept development and field requests that are applicable to the assigned project format.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Organization and planning skills.

  • Ability to successfully handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with supervisors and subordinates verbally and in writing.

  • Revit experience.

  • High energy and a high sense of urgency.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and lead others.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

  • General understanding of Microsoft excel.

  • CAD experience required.

  • Degree in Design Interior Architecture or Architecture preferred.

  • Some travel may be required.
