We are looking for a highly skilled and motivatedData Scientist (level III or Senior)with experience inML engineering MLOps and exposure toAI/GenAIto join our team. You will work closely with senior data scientists and engineers to build and maintain scalable ML pipelines and contribute to the integration of GenAI capabilities into our analytics solutions. This role supports the Americas geography under the IS organization and contributes to projects that enhance operations across 70 offices.
Successful candidates must understand or be able to:
Develop and maintain ML models and MLOps pipelines.
Stay updated with trends in MLOps and GenAI.
Communicate technical insights to cross-functional teams.
Break down complex problems and propose data-driven solutions.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Build and maintain MLOps pipelines for model training deployment and monitoring.
Support integration of GenAI models into analytics workflows.
Automate data ingestion and feature engineering processes.
Implement CI/CD and containerized deployments.
Monitor model performance and support retraining strategies.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver solutions.
Ensure data quality and consistency.
Document processes and contribute to team knowledge base.
Qualifications :
Minimum
Bachelors (5 yrs. experience) or Masters (3 yrs. experience) in Computer Science Data Science Engineering or related field.
Experience in MLOps or ML engineering roles.
Proficiency in Python SQL and version control systems.
Exposure to GenAI tools and concepts.
Desired
Familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g. Scikit-learn TensorFlow).
Experience with cloud ML services and containerization.
Understanding of GenAI APIs and prompt engineering.
Experience with IaC tools and real-time model deployment.
Additional Information :
The annual salary for this position is between $120000 to $150000.
The position is onsite in the office. Please ensure that if you apply you would be able to commute to the office.
This position must be based out of one of our offices located in:
Atlanta GA Detroit MI Edison NJ Torrance CA Dallas TX
Expeditors also offers 26 remote days per year that can be used as needed. The entire team is based onsite and works closely with each other which help foster employee growth and job satisfaction.
Position is full time (40 hours per week) Monday through Friday (in office). We are an office business attire company.
