Are you a skilled ER RN ready to take on high-stakes challenges with a compassionate heart and clinical precision Finger Lakes Health is actively seeking a Level 2 Emergency Department RN for a full-time contract role at Geneva General Hospital!
This is your opportunity to bring calm to chaos deliver expert care and be part of a dynamic fast-paced Emergency Department team that saves lives and supports the community 24/7.
Position Details:
Shift: 3x12s Rotating Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays
On-Call: 2 shifts per 4 weeks (Not required with a 48-hour/week contract)
Contract Length: Ideally 26 weeks
Engagement Type: Contract or Contract-to-Hire

What Youll Be Doing:
Delivering high-quality rapid-response nursing care to critical and non-critical ED patients
Collaborating closely with physicians techs and fellow RNs in urgent/emergency situations
Prioritizing triaging and documenting patient conditions with accuracy and speed
Utilizing advanced clinical judgment under pressure
Providing emotional support to patients and families during life-changing moments
Maintaining compliance with regulatory and hospital protocols
Requirements:
Current NYS RN license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
BLS ACLS and PALS certifications required (AHA only)
Strong clinical assessment multitasking and communication skills
Comfortable with rotating shifts and high-volume ED flow
Pay Information:
48-hour contract options available (no On Call)
