Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join our this role you will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Capitol Equipment Sales Service and Retrofit projects with the ability to work with our existing customers and develop new business. You will work closely with clients to analyze their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential clients and understand their technical needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our solutions.
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop customized estimates and proposals that address their specific challenges.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support during the sales process addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends technologies and competitive landscape.
  • Assist in creating marketing materials that effectively communicate product value propositions.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to foster trust and encourage repeat business.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or greater in Engineering or Industrial Controls.
  • Proven experience in a sales engineering or similar role with a strong understanding of sales processes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical is highly desirable. Knowledge of the Design of Industrial Electrical Control Systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity developing PLC Programs HMI Screens and Industrial Network Systems (Ethernet Profibus Modbus etc.)
  • Experience with NFPA 70 Standards including fuse and wiring sizing is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for technology-driven solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100000.00 - $120000.00 per year
