As a Client Experience Team Lead you will be instrumental in leading and mentoring a team at the core of Darwins client service and operations ensuring the delivery of a flawless wealth management experience for advisors and clients. You will lead your team in supporting this seamless experience by overseeing and executing the financial operations required for onboarding ongoing requests and complex needs. This role involves close collaboration with our advisors and management teams to continually push the boundaries of wealth management.

The Darwin team operates under the Farther umbrella providing access to a robust technology platform operational support and professional development opportunities all while maintaining the personalized boutique experience clients expect. This position offers the perfect blend of autonomy and support empowering you and your team to focus on building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional results.

Your Impact

  • Act as a senior relationship manager for advisors and clients handling escalated issues and complex scenarios.
  • Lead mentor and train a team of Client Experience Associates fostering their professional growth and ensuring high performance.
  • Oversee and manage daily tasks for the business and existing clients ensuring efficient and accurate execution.
  • Guide and support advisors in executing operational follow-up action items for clients.
  • Serve as a primary liaison with our custodians ensuring efficient processing and confirmation of requests (e.g. account opening ACATs transfers account maintenance etc.).
  • Proactively identify systemic issues and trends escalating them to the product team to strategically guide our roadmap and improve the overall operations and client service function.
  • Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with Darwins advisors custodians and third-party vendors to ensure superior client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement best practices for client experience operations driving efficiency and consistency across the team.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of operational processes and procedures.

The Ideal Match

  • Bachelors degree with 5 years of progressive work experience in a similar client service or operational role within wealth management including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Demonstrated strong interest and proven experience in client service relationship management and operational support.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the financial industry.
  • A natural leader and team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple competing tasks and priorities effectively.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with and knowledge of standard operational aspects of wealth management client service (e.g. onboarding ACATs distributions) with custodians such as Charles Schwab Fidelity and Goldman Sachs.
  • A strong passion for identifying and implementing efficiencies within current operational processes for the business and servicing clients.
