Used Car Lot Attendant / Porter

Overview

Ed Martin Toyota is looking for a dependable hardworking and detail-oriented Used Car Porter to join our team. As a Used Car Porter youll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our used vehicle inventory assisting with lot organization and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Move vehicles as directed by management and in accordance with dealership display standards
  • Wash vacuum and clean used vehicles for the lot and delivery
  • Assist with organizing the used car lot for optimal presentation and accessibility
  • Perform vehicle check-in upon delivery (inspect for damage check VIN etc.)
  • Transport vehicles to/from other dealerships or service locations as needed
  • Monitor and maintain fuel levels tire pressure and overall vehicle readiness
  • Keep the lot and work areas clean organized and free of debris
  • Assist with snow removal or lot maintenance depending on season
  • Support sales and service departments with vehicle-related tasks
  • Follow all dealership safety and operational procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred)
  • Reliable punctual and able to work independently
  • Attention to detail and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
