QA - Automation Analyst

Role description:

As a member of a passionate web team you will contribute to delivering high-quality software products through robust automation testing. Youll be responsible for developing and maintaining test plans and scripts using Selenium frameworks (TestNG) Playwright TS ensuring comprehensive test coverage. The role involves executing functional non-functional regression smoke and API tests while meticulously documenting test cases and results. Youll collaborate closely with developers to identify track and resolve bugs supporting the team in delivering reliable solutions.

Role accountabilities:

• Work as a part of a passionate web team to ensure high quality products.
• Develop automation test plans and test scripts execute functional and non-functional test cases and maintain test data ensuring maximum test coverage
• Maintain and update existing test cases using Selenium framework using TestNG Playwright with Typescript
• Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining and robust log of automation test cases and test results
• Execute test suites and provide regular feedback and reports to the team
• Support the team in regression testing smoke testing and API testing when bugs are resolved
• Identity record document and track bugs
• Collaborate with development team to resolve defects and other issues ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software
• Nice to have experience in API automation with PactumJS or Rest Assured-Java

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum University degree in Engineering or Science streams.
• Ideally 2-5years of experience in automation & manual testing.
• Hands-on working experience in writing and executing automated test suites using Selenium frameworks with TestNG
• Hands on experience with Playwright framework.
• Capable of working independently in automation test case creation and updating existing tests.
• Experience with waterfall and agile software development.
• Programming experience in high level languages like Java with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hand-on experience of writing and maintaining automated API tests written in Java using a REST-assured library.
• Thorough understanding of SDLC STLC and defect life cycles specifically automated QA processes in Agile development environments.
• Nice to have Mobile testing experience using Appium.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g. Azure DevOps Jenkins Git etc..).
• Usage of test management /defect management tools and frameworks.
• Strong interpersonal and oral/verbal communication skills.
