Job Description
Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring French Language Teachers to provide in-person lessons to our clients.
Job Information:
Ref: 188651
Student: one adult learner (male) in-person
Location: Students office near Cathdrale Marie Reine du Monde 1085 Rue de la Cathdrale Montreal Quebec H3B 2V3
Availability: Monday and Friday mornings or afternoons (between 8:00 am 4:00 pm)
Preferred start date: ASAP
Lesson Frequency: 2 times per week
Lesson Duration: 1 hour per lesson
Students location/time zone: Montreal Eastern Time (ET)
Current target language level: Beginner
Native and other spoken languages: English Chinese Indonesian
Students language needs and goals:
The student aims to improve his conversational skills in French across a variety of everyday topics with special focus on:
Grammar vocabulary and common expressions
Structured lessons with clear objectives and consistent methodology
Conversation practice incorporated into each lesson
An organized methodical approach to accelerate real-life communication skills
His areas of interest include current affairs.
Responsibilities:
Delivering tailored dynamic effective and engaging lessons
Developing curricula based on learners proficiency level and desired outcomes
Monitoring students progress and guiding toward learning goals
Communicating in an efficient effective and professional manner
Qualifications:
Native or nearnative written and spoken proficiency in French
Certificate or degree in language teaching education instructional design writing language linguistics secondlanguage acquisition or related field
Minimum of two years of experience
Experience teaching adults is preferred
