Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Techno-Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Workday HCM to support and improve our Workday ecosystem. This role is critical in bridging the gap between business users and technical teams to deliver scalable efficient and user-friendly solutions across Workday HCM modules.
You will be responsible for technical configuration reporting integration support and working closely with HR and business stakeholders to optimize Workday functionality and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Experience in Workday HCM configuration for modules such as Core HCM Compensation Benefits Absence Talent and Time Tracking.
Deep understanding of Workday business processes (hire termination job change compensation changes etc.).
Translate business needs into technical specifications and scalable Workday solutions.
Build maintain and troubleshoot Workday integrations using EIB Core Connectors Workday Studio and REST/SOAP APIs.
Create and maintain calculated fields condition rules validation rules and eligibility criteria.
Develop and deliver custom reports dashboards and analytics using Advanced Matrix and Composite reports.
Deep understanding in technical aspects of Workday releases regression testing and change impact analysis.
Collaborate with HR Payroll Finance and IT teams to understand and implement cross-functional solutions.
Perform data loads and mass updates (via EIBs or Workday tools) as needed for organizational changes or corrections.
Analyze and resolve system issues perform root cause analysis and deliver timely solutions.
Ensure Workday security and data governance standards are followed across roles and business processes.
Provide post-go-live support training materials and end-user guidance for business stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
9 years of Workday HCM experience including both functional configuration and technical development.
Proven experience with configuration of key HCM modules (Core HCM Compensation Benefits Absence Time Tracking).
Strong hands-on experience with:
o EIBs and Core Connectors (mandatory)
o Workday Studio (strongly preferred)
o Workday Reporting and Calculated Fields
o Business Process Framework and Security Groups
Deep understanding of HR operational processes and how they align with Workday configurations.
Experience managing integrations with third-party vendors (e.g. benefits carriers payroll time systems).
Strong knowledge of testing practices (unit testing UAT regression testing).
Experience in data loads and Workday data management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Workday HCM certification (Core Compensation or other functional modules).
Experience with Workday Extend Workday Prism is a plus.
Familiarity with data privacy compliance (e.g. GDPR) and audit requirements in Workday.
Experience with agile project delivery methodologies (e.g. sprints JIRA).
Previous experience supporting Workday in global multi-country environments.
