Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management of EV charger installation projects ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings load calculations riser diagrams and wiring schematics to support design and construction planning.
- Coordinate with electricians engineers utility providers and permitting authorities.
- Manage construction schedules contractor activities procurement and site inspections.
- Facilitate technical reviews and approvals for project designs and ensure compliance with local codes and standards
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues related to power distribution and site layout.
- Monitor and report on project performance metrics timelines risks and budgets.
- Support utility interconnection and load assessment documentation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle across the state of Michigan.
Experience
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering Construction Management or a related technical field.
- 1-3 years of experience in project management preferably within the EV electrical contracting or renewable energy sector.
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical plans riser diagrams panel schedules and load sheets.
- Familiarity with utility coordination permitting and code compliance processes.
- Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Project Excel AutoCAD and/or other relevant project and design software.
- PMP certification (asset not required).
- Valid drivers license and ability to visit job sites as needed.
- Must have undertaking of electrical service equipment
- Candidate must be residing in Michigan US
