Job Description
Location: Round Rock TX 78665
Shift: 12 HR Days 7:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience
- Prepare and arrange rooms instruments equipment trays and supplies.
- Clean and disinfect instruments using approved solutions.
- Operate sterilization equipment following regulatory standards.
- Manage inventory: order restock and distribute sterile items.
- Adhere to strict safety infection control and environmental protocols.
- Support and train staff; mentor entry-level team members.
- Conduct in-service sessions and assist with onboarding.
- Knowledge of sterilization equipment/procedures.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and infection control best practices.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Certification (must have one):
- CBSPD (Certified Board Sterile Processing & Distribution)
- CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)
- CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician)
- CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)
