Job Description
We are seeking a Privacy Technology specialist (Contract) to support the OneTrust platform and to drive key initiatives including audit and cleanup of our platform setup. This role will be focused on auditing streamlining and improving the configuration of our existing OneTrust implementation - including domain/org structures templates rules vendor lists access and documentation - in alignment with privacy best practices and corporate compliance objectives.
The selected candidate will work alongside existing Privacy Advocates and technical leads and will participate in implementation auditing documentation and stakeholder alignment activities.
Key Accountabilities:
Assist in auditing documentation and reorganization of OneTrust platform configurations including:
Domain and organizational structure alignment
Template inheritance simplification
Geolocation rule consolidation
Cookie categorization and scanning audits
Access control reviews and user governance
Identify and escalate system limitations policy gaps or data quality issues discovered during cleanup
Review cookie banner and consent settings against current regulatory requirements
Collaborate with existing Privacy Advocates to implement environment best practices (DEV/QA/PROD separation via environments)
Document all activities and participate in creation and updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) How-tos best practices and other necessary documentation
Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and handoff planning to ensure sustainability post-project
Optionally:
Support stakeholder discussions and execute on outcomes from DSAR and PER org re-architecture
Evaluate and restructure vendor listings (DSAR vs. PER) to improve accuracy and compliance tracking
Skills / Experience Required
3 years of hands-on experience with OneTrust platform in a technical or administrative role
Experience working with cookie compliance privacy banners DSAR management and/or consent configuration
Understanding of international privacy regulations such as GDPR CCPA and LGPD particularly related to digital compliance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
Familiarity with managing OneTrust access roles vendor lists templates and environment separation in a privacy context
Experience documenting technical configurations and contributing to SOPs or policy guides
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and in partnership with Privacy Advocates Legal and Tech teams
Ability to adapt to changing privacy regulations and business needs and to implement changes quickly and effectively
Experience in training and mentoring junior team members on privacy best practices and OneTrust platform usage
Experience in global organizations with multi-region/multi-brand structures preferred
