Where you ll be working
Serving a population of approximately 300,000, this unit provides a comprehensive Level 6 Urology service across North and North-West Tasmania, along with statewide sub-specialist services.

The urology department is renowned for its supportive and collaborative culture. You ll be joining a team of four experienced urologists who are committed to excellence in patient care, well supported by a team of registrars, including a SET trainee and clinical nurse specialist.

You will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and the unit is excited to launch a robotic platform and programme in July 2025, enhancing surgical capabilities.

You will be expected to participate in satellite clinics and theatre lists at a regional Community Hospital as part of the Statewide Urological Service provision, and to participate in SET Registrar training and Multidisciplinary Team Meetings. Subspecialist interests are encouraged. Experience in female urology and robotics is highly valued.

Package from $400k plus relocation support

Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), or equivalent
