Job Description
Citizant is in search of an experienced Configuration Management Lead to support our IRS customer.
Location: Fully Remote
Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team responsible for all aspects of configuration management of a software development project
- Provide configuration management support to include code versioning and coordination of application transmittals across various environments
- Coordinate the integration and deployment of multiple development teams software/code to consolidate for test/production environment installation and/or testing
- Participate in the planning scheduling and installation of software
- Interface with system administrators to debug software deployment issues
Qualifications :
Required Competencies:
- Must be familiar with Agile Software Development and working with a Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
- Must have a deep understanding of Configuration Management Principles and be comfortable supporting CM in a complex software development environment.
- Must have experience with:
- Linux
- Git
- Maven
- Jenkins
- Nexus
- SonarQube
- Rational Tools
- A familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus.
Experience:
- A min. of 4 years of Configuration Management experience.
- Must be experienced with Java builds and deployments.
- IRS experience is preferred.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have the ability to obtain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)
- The applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and employment is based on the ability to attain Minimum Background Investigation clearance.
Starting salary range:
- Up to $100000k/yearly (depending on experience)
