Job Description
The Imaging Patient Assistant facilitates patient flow by greeting patients and preparing them for their examination acting as a chaperone uploading images and performing other non-technologist functions when appropriate. Enters data into hospital information system transports films within the hospital and transports patients if necessary.
Work Location: Bethesda Maryland
Shift: Casual/On-Call (16 hours weekly) /Weekends REQUIRED
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Medical setting experience desired.
- General knowledge of Radiology exams and/or anatomy desired.
- Must be able to carry lift or push up to 30lbs.
