* Providing daily support for production with a focus on safety quality and uptime.
* Troubleshooting and resolving equipment/process failures.
* Supervising skilled trades personnel when needed.
* Ensuring compliance with our client safety and controls standards.

* Participating in downtime planning and launch activities.
* Collaborating with other engineers and maintenance teams for knowledge transfer.

* Motivators for this need (i.e.-special projects/general workload support/etc.) What is your business Group This role is focused on supporting production operations troubleshooting equipment issues and driving continuous improvement in automation and controls within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
What are the primary responsibilities of the Controls Engineer in this facilityCandidatewill be working on project-based work. We have many collaborative robots technology coming in. This person would really be one of the leaders of that project and so they would work on collaborating robot applications writing programs for it working through the installation and all the safety buy off.
What makes this role interesting The exciting part of it is the Corvette and the professional side the person will be at the tip of the sphere and figuring out new things.
Candidate Requirements
The highest level of education required: Bachelors degree in any Engineering. Open to candidates with a two-year degree that focuses on the newer side of Robotics. More focused on if their education helped them with Robotics Engineering.
Years of experience required: Looking for at least 3 years
PLC Programming and Troubleshooting
Robotics Integration (especially Collaborative Robots)
Vision System Implementation
