Job Description

Cordia Resources construction industry client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support key accounting functions including month-end reconciliations accounts payable review and audit preparation. This role requires strong accounting expertise a proactive approach to process improvement and prior experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform month-end account reconciliations and assist with close processes
  • Review and oversee accounts payable transactions for accuracy and compliance
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
  • Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure accurate job costing


Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (required)
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
  • Construction industry experience is required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
  • Excellent Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
