What Youll Be Doing:
Evolent is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer who will be responsible for building and maintaining healthcare software solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop implement and manage comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex software applications.
Lead efforts to create maintain and optimize test automation frameworks for improved efficiency and test coverage.
Conduct detailed manual and automated testing to validate software functionality performance and security.
Identify document and prioritize defects and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes tools and methodologies.
Mentor junior quality engineers promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.
Analyze test data generate quality metrics and provide regular reports on software quality to stakeholders.
Participate in test case reviews design discussions and product planning to ensure quality is built into all phases of the software lifecycle.
Stay updated on emerging testing tools technologies and best practices and evaluate their applicability.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Karate Selenium Cypress JUnit TestNG Appium).
Strong coding skills in programming languages such as C# Java Python or JavaScript for test automation.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab) and familiarity with version control systems like Git.
In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies including functional regression performance and security testing.
Experience working in agile development environments and understanding of agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and mentor junior team members.
Mandatory Requirements:
Employees must have a high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of50 Mbpsand the ability to set up a wired connection to their home network to ensure effective remote work. These requirements may be updated as needed by the business.
