As an algorithm developer you will be responsible for crafting the creative look of videos captured with Apple cameras by developing capture side tone mapping algorithms. You will drive algorithm development across all stages of the cycle; from the initial idea and proof of concept work through on-device implementation all the way to field testing validation and finally surprising and delighting our customers. Prototype novel tone mapping algorithms in high level software languages such as Matlab or PythonImplement test and refine developed approaches in Apple products to meet image quality expectations and satisfy code execution time criteriaCollaborate with hardware design teams on developing new image processing blocks improving image qualityInfluence the artistic look of Apple cameras across different product categories (phones portables tablets) and modalities (video and still capture playback)Define and develop feature proposals for different use cases targeting consumer and professional markets
