We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Aircraft Engine Mechanic to maintain inspect troubleshoot and repair aircraft engines in accordance with aviation safety standards and technical guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills and in-depth knowledge of turbine and piston engines.
Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft engines (turbine and/or piston).
Disassemble inspect repair and reassemble engines following manufacturer specifications.
Diagnose engine issues using diagnostic tools and borescope inspections.
Replace defective parts and components such as compressors turbines fuel nozzles and ignition systems.
Ensure compliance with all aviation regulatory and safety standards (e.g. FAA EASA).
Maintain accurate maintenance records and logbooks for each engine serviced.
Collaborate with engineering teams inspectors and other technicians to ensure airworthiness.
Perform engine test runs and certify performance within operational limits.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the engine maintenance area.
Respond to Aircraft-on-Ground (AOG) situations as required.
Diploma or certification in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or related mechanical discipline.
Valid aircraft maintenance license or engine mechanic certification (e.g. FAA Powerplant License EASA B1.1 or B1.2).
Proven experience working with aircraft engines in a workshop or line maintenance setting.
Familiarity with engine maintenance manuals service bulletins and repair procedures.
Excellent knowledge of engine systems hydraulics fuel ignition and lubrication systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Physical fitness and ability to handle tools lift heavy components and work in confined spaces.
Type training or certification on specific engines (e.g. CFM56 V2500 PT6A GE90 etc.).
Experience with engine overhaul or testing procedures.
Knowledge of MRO practices and engine maintenance software/tools.
