Were Hiring: WordPress/PHP Developer
Location: On-site / Hybrid Costa Rica Full-Time
Are you passionate about building high-performance custom WordPress sites Do you live and breathe PHP and love clean maintainable code Were looking for a seasoned WordPress/PHP Developer to join our talented dev team and help us build powerful customized WordPress solutions for exciting digital projects.
In this role youll work on both back end (PHP/SQL) and front-end (HTML JS CSS Astro Tailwind) projects. Youll be joining a collaborative high-energy team in a fun and relaxed (yet professional) work environment.
What Youll Be Doing
- Building custom features and functionality using PHP within WordPress
- Developing pixel-perfect responsive pages from Figma/XD designs
- Ensuring top performance clean code and strong technical execution
- Supporting SEO and performance goals through best coding practices
- Collaborating with designers team leads and QA to ensure seamless delivery
What Were Looking For
- 2 years of experience in WordPress/PHP development
- Strong proficiency in PHP HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript jQuery and GIT
- Experience building responsive mobile-first websites
- Ability to turn Figma/XD files into fully functional WordPress sites
- Familiarity with DevTools Firebug and other debugging tools
- Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility and CSS specificity
- Knowledge of WordPress REST API and working with external APIs
- Clear communicator who can collaborate with peers and managers
- Bonus: Knowledge of Laravel Tailwind and version control
- Bonus: Understanding of SEO from a developers perspective
