Role Summary

Updates course curriculum and materials under the supervision of instructional staff or faculty in support of instructional advancement.

Examples of Work Performed

  • Collaborates with faculty and others to design update and enhance course content across foundational and clinical sciences
  • Ensures curricular alignment with ACPE accreditation standards and current pharmacy practice trends
  • Trains faculty in pedagogical methods instructional strategies assessment methods and relevant technical skills
  • Develops instructional resources and processes that support innovative learning approaches
  • Monitors course development and provides ongoing support to instructors
  • Analyzes feedback and performance data to inform curricular improvements
  • Participates in curriculum committees and academic planning groups
  • Supports development of new courses electives concentrations and learning modalities
  • Performs other related duties as needed

Essential Functions

These essential functions include but are not limited to the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.

1. Organizes and develops curricula materials and programs to meet specific training needs.
2. Partners with subject matter experts to provide input for course content.
3. Works to ensure course materials are current and relevant.
4. Plans and coordinates skill assessments and trainings.
5. Edits reviews and updates existing materials based on curriculum changes.

Minimum Education/Experience

Education: Bachelors Degree

Experience:(3) Three Years Experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in higher education development of new programs hybrid and online education
