Job Description
Work with a highly skilled engineering team in the design implementation and support of kernel driver frameworks. The role includes interacting with multi-functional teams across Apple to bring state-of-the-art kernel and security enhancements to Apples products. The position will focus on areas such as IPC kernel and user space drivers scheduling and so on. Engineers also use various debugging tools and techniques to identify system issues and improve quality.
- 5 years of professional experience working on low-level systems
- Solid understanding of Operating System implantation fundamentals
- Proficient with C & ARM assembly language
- BS in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent experience / skills
- Experience debugging/testing software spanning multiple layers
- Experience in C and Swift
- Possesses excellent analytical programming and debugging abilities
- Thrives in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate technical details
At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147400 and $272100 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
