Engineering Technician | Part-Time | Enmarket Arena

This position assists the Full Time Engineer Technician of the Enmarket Arena during events and non-event days. This position also helps to control maintain and monitor all Enmarket Arena systems throughout the facility.

This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00-$28.00.

The Enmarket Arena boasts a 9500-seat arena with luxury suites club seating and first-rate food and beverage. The Enmarket Arena has bolstered entertainment in the Southeast by hosting must-see national touring concerts family shows comedians and more. The venue is also expanding sports in the region by recently introducing a tenant ECHL hockey team the Savannah Ghost Pirates along with presenting professional collegiate and amateur sporting events.

• Under guidance from the Full Time Engineer Technician performs preventative maintenance and repairs on all Enmarket Arena systems including but not limited to HVAC plumbing woodworking and all other building assets as needed
• Reading technical diagrams and blueprints
• Troubleshooting building systems using appropriate testing devices
• Repairing and replacing equipment ceiling tiles painting and fixtures
• As scheduled assists in operating the Enmarket Arena during the event and non-event modes as efficiently as possible
• Assist with Zamboni maintenance and ice maintenance during event and non-event days
• Operates and maintains equipment including but not limited to forklift Zamboni hand tools power tools pickup truck etc
• Assists as needed in all areas of operations

• Must possess a demonstrated basic knowledge of methods principles and practices required for the operation repair and maintenance of all systems such as HVAC plumbing and woodworking
• Preferred but not required to understand LEED Certified Buildings and take initiatives toward it
• Must possess the ability to work effectively under pressure and stringent schedules and produce accurate results; must possess the ability to work independently and exercise proper judgment in routine matters
• Must possess the ability to maintain an effective working relationship with clients employees exhibitors guests and others encountered in the course of employment
• Must be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle
• Must have a High School Diploma. Preferred College or Technical School Degree
