A Day in the Life

We are seeking a Team Lead IV to join our Brooklyn Center MN team and help us continue to provide the highest quality products and services to our customers. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience leading and managing a production team excellent organizational and communication skills and a commitment to a high standard of work quality. They will be responsible for leading the production team in ensuring all safety regulations are followed meeting production goals and inspiring team members to perform at their highest level. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Leads production team work process equipment testing manufacturing disassembly and reassembly as assigned by supervisor.
  • Prioritizes use of operators according to build schedule.
  • Communicates process issues and provides status updates to team supervisor.
  • Coaches operators/assemblers on production and problem solving skills performing technical review and machinery setup/breakdown as needed.
  • Ensures Medtronic company quality and safety standards are upheld.

Preferred Qualifications

Exceptionally qualified candidates will have the following experiences and/or qualifications:

  • A firm grasp of Microsoft Office tools (Excel Outlook Teams PowerPoint Word) and basic to advanced computer skills.
  • A demonstrated record of excellent performance in meeting high standards of quality quantity leadership and dependability (attendance and punctuality).
  • Be well organized and possess good record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve while keeping prioritization of tasks in a fast moving environment.
  • Prior experience providing supervision or mentorship to lower level production staff.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player.
  • Experienced in training and onboarding. Ability to provide process improvement recommendations to supervisors.
  • People leadership within a medical manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable leading standup meetings with team members and speaking to escalations in Tier meetings.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Requires minimum of 8 years of experience.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$50400.00 - $75600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
