About the role
The R&D Systems Engineering intern works in collaboration with the R&D Engineering team to design cutting-edge medical devices through testing and create various technical documents.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Researches develops designs and evaluates electrical and electro-mechanical material components assemblies processes and/or equipment.
- Conducts feasibility studies to verify capability and functionality.
- Develops new concepts from initial design to market release.
- Directs support personnel and coordinates project activities.
- Maintains detailed documentation throughout all phases of research and development.
- Continuously improve processes and work methodologies (using agile/lean principles to eliminate waste) to help solve complex problems.
- Contribute to software/system risk assessment activities Use Design FMEAs activities.
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in electrical or biomedical engineering
- 1 years of experience with product development activities in a regulated industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with power circuit design / power semiconductors and magnetic components.
- Experience with analog circuit design.
- Experience with low-speed digital circuit design.
- Excellent organizational communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work with a team efficiently and independently.

Le stagiaire en ingnierie de R. et D. des systmes travaille en collaboration avec lquipe dingnierie de R. et D. pour concevoir des dispositifs mdicaux de pointe en les testant et crer divers documents techniques.
Responsabilits
- Effectuer des recherches dvelopper concevoir et valuer du matriel des composants des assemblages des processus ou des quipements lectriques et lectromcaniques.
- Mener des tudes de faisabilit pour vrifier les capacits et les fonctionnalits.
- Dvelopper de nouveaux concepts de ltude initiale la mise sur le march.
- Diriger du personnel de soutien et coordonner les activits lies aux projets.
- Assurer la tenue dune documentation dtaille toutes les tapes du processus de recherche et de dveloppement.
- Amliorer en permanence les processus et les mthodes de travail (en appliquant les principes Agile/Lean pour liminer le gaspillage) afin de contribuer la rsolution de problmes complexes.
- Contribuer aux activits dvaluation des risques des logiciels et des systmes; utiliser les activits dAMDE de conception.
Comptences requises
- Baccalaurat en gnie lectrique ou biomdical.
- Au moinsun an dexprience dans des activits de dveloppement de produits dans un secteur rglement.
- Excellentes aptitudes en matire de rsolution de problmes dans un environnement dquipe.
- Excellentes aptitudes en matire dorganisation de communication et de collaboration.
- Solides comptences en matire de documentation.
Comptences souhaites
- Exprience dans le domaine de la conception de circuits de puissance de semi-conducteurs de puissance et de composants magntiques.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) see --will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs. Compensation for hourly non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
