Job Description
As a Software Engineer on the Apple Cloud UI team you will be a key contributor to the design development and maintenance of our cloud portal. You will work closely with HI designers product managers and other engineering teams to drive projects forward as a Directly Responsible Individual (DRI). You will be responsible for delivering high-quality scalable and maintainable code. Were looking for a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building exceptional user experiences.* Design develop and maintain features for our cloud portal using React and TypeScript.* Collaborate with HI designers to translate designs into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.* Work closely with product managers to understand requirements prioritize tasks and develop timelines and roadmaps.* Act as a DRI for projects taking ownership from conception to deployment.* Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.* Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.* Contribute to the development of internal frontend tooling.* Explore and prototype new technologies including GenAI to improve our workflows and products.
- 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
- Experience building complex web applications with a focus on user experience.
- Experience implementing APIs in user interfaces.
- Excellent communication collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Experience with Node and full-stack development.
- Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with GenAI technologies and their integration into web applications is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147400 and $272100 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
