Families & Youth Innovations Plus (FYI)

Position: Full-Time; BA/BS

Salary: $48000 - $58080 annually (3 levels based on experience and education)

Reports To: Kathryn Schmidt Director of Programs

Department: Resource and Referral Department

Job Summary

The Access Manager supports individuals in navigating the behavioral health system. This person will develop processes and lead a team of intake staff and care coordinators who will serve as bridges between individuals and the services they need. The Access Manager ensures data is collected appropriately to be used for analysis and evaluation and that participants receive timely coordinated services from diverse programs at FYI and elsewhere.

This position is a key role within the agency that provides a responsive informed unbiased affirming and inclusive approach and menu of services to a very diverse population including individuals from LGBTQ marginalized underrepresented and BIPOC communities who have varying life experiences including: substance use and abuse homelessness gender variance traumatization legal involvement system involvement domestic violence mental health needs teen pregnancy varied abilities and learning needs poverty etc.

What Youll Do:

  • Program Oversight & Development: Lead design implementation and continuous improvement of the CCBHC care coordination program. Ensure compliance with certification standards build community partnerships and drive strategic enhancements.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit train and supervise a growing care coordination team. Manage performance foster a trauma-informed culture and optimize staffing and service delivery.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to CCBHC and federal standards. Monitor documentation lead quality initiatives track KPIs and coordinate audits.
  • Clinical Operations: Oversee care planning and service access for complex cases. Manage transitions across programs and providers and facilitate multidisciplinary consultations.
  • Data & Reporting: Direct data systems and reporting for program outcomes. Analyze trends ensure accurate documentation and support grant compliance.
  • Organizational Leadership: Collaborate across departments contribute to strategic planning and represent care coordination in community and stakeholder engagements.

What You Need:

  • Bachelors degree in psychology social work or related field or or ability to demonstrate work experience equivalent to such a degree; plus at least 2-4 years of Experience in direct mental health substance abuse or healthcare services
  • 1 or more years of experience managing a team
  • Professional proficiency with managing the safety of participants quality of data collection and coordinating services
  • Strong ability to collect analyze and report on data about participant services and outcomes
  • Ability to communicate verbally in person virtually and via phone with other agencies staff participants and families.
