Job Description
JOB TITLE: Supply Chain Intern
JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Supply Chain Intern to join our team for a full-time paid internship. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting various aspects of the supply chain including procurement logistics inventory management and vendor relations. This internship offers valuable exposure to real-world supply chain operations within a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment.
Internship Details:
- Full-time paid position
- Hours determined based on availability
- Business casual attire required
- Computer and necessary materials will be provided
- Internship based at our Nashville Corporate Office in Brentwood TN
- 6 weeks duration
RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Assisting with supplier and vendor communications
- Supporting data entry and analysis related to purchasing and inventory
- Helping coordinate logistics for incoming and outgoing shipments
- Participating in process improvement projects
- Compiling reports and maintaining documentation related to supply chain activities
- Collaborating cross-functionally with procurement finance and operational teams
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Recent college graduate or currently enrolled full-time student in an undergraduate program with at least two years completed (preferably in Supply Chain Management Business Operations or related field)
- Demonstrated initiative both independently and within a team
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
- Ability to travel to the Brentwood TN Corporate Office
- Previous internship or related work experience preferred
- A minimum of three (3) professional or academic references required
