Were seeking a compassionate Registered Peer Recovery Specialist to join our Community Regional Crisis Response (CR2) team and make a real difference by supporting individuals through crisis and connecting them with life-changing resources.

$2500 Sign-on and retention bonus!

Schedule:

9A-9P Sunday-Tuesday with a half day on Wednesday

Your Role in Our Mission

The Registered Peer Recovery Specialist for CR2 is a fully integrated team member who provides highly individualized services in the community and promotes self- determination advocacy and hope. The Peer Support Specialist assists with connecting individuals experiencing crisis to needed community resources. The Peer Support Specialist participates in our rotating on-call schedule. This position includes community travel to the following counties and cities: Arlington Alexandria Fairfax Loudoun and Prince William. (Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to one of the mentioned areas).

• Competitive rate: $25.00 per hour

What Were Looking For

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Registered as a Peer Support Specialist in Virginia
• A desire to provide community-based services for those experiencing a behavioral health crisis
• Must be or have been a recipient of mental health services
• Valid drivers license good driving record and current auto insurance.
