Capgemini America multiple openings for the position of Applications Developer 2 based out ofits Chicago IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at variousunanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: conduct software-specificdesign and realization; analyze user needs and software requirements to determinefeasibility of design within time and cost constraints; coordinate softwaresystem installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specificationsare met; perform testing deployment and release management and/or technicaland functional application management of package based solutions including SAPor ORACLE; build solutions and maintain/optimize/ improve client applicationsand systems; and contribute to business and technical blueprint and respectiveSoftware Package Core Modules.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a bachelorsdegree or its foreign equivalent in Business Administration Finance HREconomics Computer Science Computer Applications Management InformationSystems Information Technology Engineering (any) or closely related fieldplus at least 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a ManagementConsultant Systems Analyst or related IT lieu of a bachelorsdegree the employer deems that the suitable combination of education trainingor experience acceptable is 2 years of study towards any U.S. bachelors degreeplus at least 6 years of IT experience. The applicant must also have experiencewith: any period of experience performing business software analysis designconfiguration testing and support in packages including SAP ORACLENetsuite JDA Salesforce or Microsoft; any period of experience performingfull life cycle project implementations including project blueprintrealization go-live and post go-live support; and any period of experienceperforming gap analysis and strategic roadmap/blueprint development.
