Job Summary:
Position reports directly to the Pick/Pack Supervisor. Responsible for coordinating all order processing expediting and loading activities on a daily basis. Efficient day-to-day operations with an emphasis on leading/coaching the team and implementing action plans to improve workflow as needed and manage daily workload.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct daily leadership of team members to ensure the safe clean and efficient operation of the area
Build a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that you collaborate with team members team leaders and management
Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in coaching/mentoring the team
Provide input into performance evaluations recommending promotions wage increases employee development discipline and terminations
Direct and coordinate processes to ensure tasks are executed correctly and in a timely fashion
Ensure incoming and outgoing materials meet Schluter quality standards
Allocate equipment so that it is utilized in the safest most efficient manner
Ensure that all records and reports regarding activities are prepared on a timely basis and effectively maintained
Review operating goals and standards and monitor achievement
Make recommendations to the Supervisors/Continuous Improvement leader on process improvements
Review operations daily to ensure the area is neat and well organized and that damage to product equipment and the facility is prevented
Ensure that all safety procedures and policies are followed
Operate in compliance with Company OSHA and other appropriate standards.
Other duties as assigned
Represent Schluter Systems L.P. in a professional positive and enthusiastic manner in all matters
Skills/Requirements:
1-3 years work experience in the warehouse/distribution environment
Good communication skills required for interaction with internal staff as well as external vendors and contractors.
Highly self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
Must have responsible work habits with an emphasis on safety.
Demonstrated skill in leadership organization and communication.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications Lotus Notes and warehouse systems
Good attendance is required
Must be Forklift certified or willing to be trained to operate

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base pay offered will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for additional benefits to the base pay range listed above.
