About Outpatient Clinics
Corewell Health operates over three hundred outpatient clinics across Michigan bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over forty types of primary care and specialty practices which allow those who work in these clinics the opportunity to gain experience and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
About our practice
When you come to Corewell Health Digestive Health Services you are getting comprehensive care with a multidisciplinary approach. Now performing more than 35000 endoscopies a year we have one of the largest volume centers in Michigan. Our experts have more exposure to advanced complex care cases as well as routine procedures. We offer a wide variety of services including office visit consultation with a specialist disease-specific multi-specialty team clinics and both outpatient and inpatient procedures.
As the largest inpatient referral center in West Michigan our community partners know their patients are in safe care when they refer patients to Corewell Health. Our multidisciplinary team includes experts in gastroenterology as well as colorectal and upper gastrointestinal conditions who offer the latest minimally invasive procedures. That means less time in the hospital and more time with your family.
We have the largest group of gastroenterologists in West Michigan. Our resolute team of highly trained experts perform the latest diagnostic testing in gastroenterology using modern treatment techniques to manage digestive disease. We are dedicated to preserving the digestive health of our patients and providing the outstanding care every patient deserves.
Scope of work
Responsible for the activities of team members within practices and oversees the delivery of optimal patient flow and patient satisfaction in collaboration with dyad partners. Trains team members and serve as a liaison between providers team members and director in daily operations. Responsible for charge capture processing standard work process improvement and practice staffing. Manages team member performance and development and ensures policy adherence. Manages multiple sites and specialty programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent business management health care administration or other related areas Required.
- Masters degree or equivalent business management health care administration or other related areas Preferred.
- Five (5) years of relevant experience in health care/medical practice or related work Required.
- Three (3) years of recent and relevant supervisory or management experience Required.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records and other medical practice systems Preferred.
